The hottest piece of scuttlebutt off the rumor mill suggests that Apple is going to unveil its two new iPhones, iPhone 5S and the iPhone Lite, on September 6th.

The September release time-frame for new iPhones has been floated around quite a lot over the past few months, but as the month comes closer with each passing day, rumors now come with an exact purported date on which the announcement is expected. At this point in time, no one can say for sure that Apple will be unveiling two new iPhones this year, however the recent barrage of leaks suggest that apart from announcing its iPhone 5 successor, Apple will also unveil the new budget offering, which will presumably be called iPhone Lite.

Many analysts that track Apple and make their predictions also hint towards a September unveiling. It is actually quite a no-brainer. Earlier this year Apple CEO Tim Cook confirmed that the company will release its new devices in September. The fact that iPhone 5 will nearly be a year old in this month warrants the conclusion that Apple will definitely announce its successor. What most people are mainly excited about right now is what is expected to be launched alongside it.

Only recently a well known analyst pegged that release date for iPhone 5S and iPhone Lite on September 27th. It is not usual for a break of about a fortnight between the announcement and the day on which shipping commences. Even if the rumored dates are going to be off, there’s a huge possibility that Apple will make an iPhone related announcement in September.
