With news that Samsung plans on releasing yet another version of the Galaxy S4, it’s a good time to take a look at a new chart produced by U.K. consumer electronics research website Which? that shows us just how many different sizes of Galaxy devices the company has released over the past couple of years. The chart, pictured below, shows that Samsung has a total of 26 different sizes for its Galaxy-branded smartphones and tablets, ranging from the 3-inch Galaxy Y to the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note 10.1.
As you can see, Samsung has essentially blurred the line between what can be classified as a phone and what should be called a tablet by releasing four Galaxy Note-branded devices that range between 5.3 inches and 10.1 inches.
The real mystery, though, is why there’s still an enormous gap between the 8-inch Galaxy Note 8.0 and the 10.1-inch Galaxy Note 10.1 — after all, it seems very un-Samsung-like to leave an entire inch between one Galaxy device and another. The good news is that the company is likely working to remedy this situation and will probably release a Galaxy Note Tab Mini Mega 9.0 sometime next year.
